"Til Two In the Morning

Today, someone gave me a great compliment--probably one of the best compliments an author can receive. Someone told me that they were up until 2:00 in the morning reading my book because she couldn't put it down. That felt so good. What a wonderful thing to hear!

I've been up until 2:00 in the morning finishing a book because I couldn't put it down. It feels good that someone thinks that about my book. What a great start to my week, and it only promises to get better. On Wednesday, I leave for the LDStorymakers Conference. I also have 2 book signings scheduled in Utah. Here are the dates and times. If anyone is in the area, come say 'hi.' To my fellow Ink Ladies who are going to the conference, I can't WAIT to meet you!

Marcia, I'm excited that I'll get to meet you!

It's such a thrill when people tell you how late they had to stay up to finish a book of yours that they couldn't put down. I'm convinced that some books should be required to carry a "Do Not begin at bedtime!" warning.

Or maybe not! :-)

Marcia, I think I told you before, but I, as well, stayed up really late reading your newest book. Not 2am, because I had to get the kids ready for school at 6am, but until midnight, and i picked it up right away in the morning, putting a movie on for Laurence. It really is a good book.

Joan once told me that she stayed up all night trying to figure out how one of my story series went together, and that after midnight some time, she suddenly got an answer, and had to email me about it right away. That felt so good. I know exactly how you feel here.
